Time to Think Coach Supervision

Supervision is a chance to reflect on your practice. To do this well, you will need to think well and to do this, you need another professional to listen well and by invitation offer insights.  As a coach, you spend your working life creating that quality of attention for other people. This is the space where you receive it too.

What makes this different

What makes the difference is me, as your Time to Think Supervisor. I generate the conditions for your finest thinking, in a place that is safe and non-judgemental. Alongside that, you are in dialogue with me as your supervisor. You are free to ask for the additional insight, observation, or challenge that will support your development as a coach.

How we work together

Individual supervision. You bring whatever is alive in your practice. Perhaps a client who has stayed with you, a decision you are circling, or a pattern you cannot quite name. I listen, without interrupting, until your own thinking feels complete. We then move into dialogue on your question. You then also are welcome to ask me anything, and I offer the insight or challenge you are looking for.  We complete with an appreciation.

Cost: £150.00 per session of one hour.

Peer supervision. Peer supervision follows a similar framework to individual supervsion process. The key difference is that there is more than one supervisor and each has an opporutnity to speak, ask questions and be questioned by the supervisee. I facilitate the process to keep it moving.  We complete with an appreciation.

Group supervision. You bring your practice to me within a small group. The session follows the same framework to individual supervision. The key difference is that each coach will work with me as the supervisor in turn in the presence of the other supervisees.  As always, the purpose of Group supervision in a Thinking Environment is to generate the finest independent thinking of the supervisees througout.  We complete with an appreciation.

Who this is for

This supervision suits you if you are a practicum student working toward your qualification, an alumna or alumnus of my coach training courses, or a qualified coach anywhere. What matters is wanting a supervisor who dignifies you and your thinking.

What you take away

Clarity on whatever you brought into the room. The experience of someone truly listening to you, which becomes a model for how you listen to your own clients. A record of supervision that supports your ongoing accreditation. A place to bring the parts of the work that are hardest to say out loud.
